The Venue
Froyle Park
Froyle Park, Alton, Hampshire, Surrey, United Kingdom GU34 4LA
Our home for the day is Froyle Park — a roomy, characterful country house with lovely grounds. It is wonderfully prepared for both rainy and sunny weather, so whatever spring brings us, the day will go ahead in comfort.
Visit froylepark.com →The Ceremony
If the weather is good, the ceremony will be held outdoors under the cherry blossoms — that is our preference, and how we picture the first day of spring beginning. If the weather does not oblige, there is ample beautiful space indoors. Guests need not dress for cold weather, but a jacket is advised for the outdoor ceremony.
Timings
Please note that the ceremony and reception will be in the same venue.
Guests arrive
Guests can arrive from 12 noon, but please arrive no later than 12:30 to be seated in time for the 1pm ceremony.
The ceremony
Drinks reception and canapés
Wedding Breakfast
First Meal of the Married Couple
Dancing
Snacks
Party officially ends — last song at 11:30
Dress Code
No formal dress code — we just ask you to dress to party.
The wedding theme is ivory with notes of pink and purple: mostly pastel shades, with a few stronger accents.
Men are welcome in suits, tuxedos or anything you feel comfortable in.
Travel & Stay
Parking
Parking at the venue is limited — we will ask whether you need a space within the RSVP.

- London Waterloo → Alton — approx. 1 hr 15 min.
- London Waterloo → Farnham — approx. 1 hr.
- The nearest station is Alton — about 10 minutes by taxi to the venue.

We would gently advise leaving Waterloo around 10:30 AM to be sure of a noon arrival — and please build in a healthy margin for delays; the ceremony waits for no one, but the canapés will.

The venue strongly advises pre-booking taxis, especially for late-night and weekend pickups. Carriages by 11.30 pm.

Getting to Froyle Park
By car
Leave the M3 at junction 10 and follow the A31 towards Alton and Farnham for approximately 18 miles. Take the turning signposted to Upper Froyle, keeping right of the Hen & Chicken pub (sat nav code GU34 4LA). Follow the road up the hill on Ryebridge to the top and bear right — Froyle Park is 300 yards on the right, opposite Yarnhams Lane, just before the church. Look for the large black Froyle Park sign. If you find yourself in Lower Froyle, you have missed the venue.
By train
The nearest station is Alton — 3.6 miles from the venue, with a taxi rank directly outside the station.

Accommodation
If you are not staying at the venue: the last trains from Alton and Farnham stations leave just after 11pm, so booking a hotel nearby is necessary.
If you are staying in London, we recommend booking a hotel there for the night before the wedding — it is quite far to travel on the day.
It might be too far for a taxi — we recommend checking with taxi firms for cost and prebooking if you wish to consider this.
Wedding Gift Fund
Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for. We know that attending a wedding is no small expense, and we truly mean it when we say there is absolutely no pressure at all.
If you would still like to give something, a small contribution towards our honeymoon — the beginning of our new life together — would mean the world to us, and is simplest by bank transfer:
